Together for six years, The Vagabonds have played original and other (sometimes long forgotten) material in an Americana Roots style in venues across the USA and Europe, as well as festivals, as The Vagabonds or as individuals in other bands, such as the Chicago Blues Festival, the Blind Willie McTell Festival in Thompson, Georgia, the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, Blues To Bop in Lugano, Switzerland, the International Art Festival in Ferrette, France, the Festival of Film in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, and the Katapulta Rock Festival in Montefalcone, Italy. Also, the Magic Blues Festival in Valle Maggio Switzerland, The Tenero Music Festival in Tenero Switzerland and The Cognac Blues Festival in France!!!
They first met in Atlanta Georgia, as members of The Mudcat Band in 2001, for which they played, toured and recorded for four years. They formed as a duo, after being encouraged by Mudcat to "get something good-going" and soon had a separate schedule when they had time off from The Mudcat Band.
Snave and Julie have been performing, acting, composing and singing from their youngest years. Julie began performing at age 3 and by age 10 was doing off-broadway and Musical Revues in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She started playing the sax at age 8. Snave also left home at age 11 to join the All Boys Choir in Princeton, New Jersey and soon went to college in at Georgia State graduating with a degree in Composition.
They love to entertain, have a good ol' time, see the world and bring as much of themselves which is good into every thing they do.
Besides their desire to keep on playing, Snave's future dreams are to compose for films someday and to possibly conduct full orchestras. It is Julie's dream to finish her scripts for the stage and cinema and to star in a Woody Allen Film, Sing the Star Spangled Banner at a Mets, Yankees, or Cubs game, and to be in a Dr. Pepper Commercial.
